Here are 5 Reasons To Watch This Indian Thriller Film:

Far from the clichéd Bollywood storyline

Song-and-dance routines are often featured in Bollywood movies which may not be appropriate in some situations. You might find yourself confused by this choice, as you listen to an item number when a thriller is supposed to be going on. However NH-10 features six songs composed by nine different composers, and each of the composers’ songs fits seamlessly into the film.

The empowerment of women

The movie stresses woman’s empowerment, showing that a strong will can lead to success whether from an urban or rural background. The line of empowerment that comes from a well-to-do background like that of Anushka (the protagonist) saves the day, but it is also the empowerment from within that makes all the difference in the film.

The macho factor?

It is true that Bollywood movies often feature a masculine hero, but in NH-10 this trend is not the case. In fact, it can be said that our lead character, Arjun, is not a traditional macho man at all. As we see him cry numerous times throughout the film and even get scared on more than one occasion, we realize that Bollywood films are finally portraying men as they really are—human beings with human emotions.

It wasn’t the first of its kind

Although it is not the first Bollywood thriller to place action on a road the plot of Nh-10 is made fresh by its focus on the terror felt by characters. This sense of terror is communicated not through multiple dialogue scenes but through striking visuals and choreographed fight sequences. The scenes on screen are intense and well-written, with dialogue taking a backseat to the action.

Performances that leave one awe-struck

Dialogue between Anushka and Neil feels natural and realistic; the romantic scenes are not overly emotional or melodramatic. Villain Darshan Kumar plays a cold-blooded killer with a dark sense of humor. Anushka portrays a businesswoman in the film’s first half and an action hero in the second half of the film. The character’s development is gradual, providing more dimension to her role.
